FRSC redeploys five assistant corps marshals, sector commanders, others

FRSC confirms 14 dead, 5 injured in Ekiti truck accident

Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Dr Boboye Oyeyemi, has approved the redeployment of five Assistant Corps Marshals and others.

According to a statement by the Corps Public Education Officer, Bisi Kazeem, all affected officers are to hand over and take over on or before 23 January, 2019.

Assistant Corps Marshal (ACM) Kayode Olangunju, is to assume duty as the Zonal Commanding Officer, Zone RS10 Headquarters, Sokoto, while ACM John Meheux, formerly the Zonal Commanding Officer, Zone RS2 Headquarters Lagos, moves to the FRSC National Headquarters Abuja to be in charge of Personnel.

He is replaced by ACM Samuel Obayemi, formerly the Zonal Commanding Officer of Zone RS9 Headquarters Enugu.

Other ACMs affected were Efosa Osawe who moved from the Corps Safety Engineering (COSEN) at the FRSC National Headquarters Abuja to Motor Vehicle Administration and Pullen Osadeba Osadebamwen who moves from RS10 Headquarters Sokoto as Zonal Commanding Officer to Zone RS9 Headquarters Enugu as the Zonal Commanding Officer.

Other senior Officers affected were Corps Commander Ronke Daniel of Special Marshals section under the Department of Operations at the FRSC National Headquarters, Abuja, moved to Headquarters Admin, while Corps Commander Emmanuel Abe of FRSC Print Farm moves to Kogi State as the Sector Commander and Corps Commander Fumbi Olawoyin of the Zonal Head of Operations, Zone RS3 Headquarters, Yola moves to the FRSC National Headquarters Abuja as the Head of the Special Marshals Section.

The former Sector Commander, RS5.2 Delta State, Corps Commander Ridom Kumven also moved to the FRSC National Headquarters Abuja as the Corps Transport Standardisation Officer. He is replaced by Corps Commander Ocheja Ameh of the Corps Intelligence Officer who is new Delta State Sector Commander.

Corps Commander Musa Ramalan Yerima is to assume duty at the Corps Safety Engineering officer and Corps Commander Kugu Ismaila, formerly the Sector Commander of Ekiti state moves to Nasarawa State as Sector Commander, while Corps Commander Ayodele Kumapayi of the Corps Transport and Safety Officer is to assume office as Sector Commander Anambra State.

The Corps Commander Kike Akinnusoye at the National Headquarters Motor Vehicle Administration moves to the FRSC Print Farm as the new head; Corps Commander Pauline Olaye of the National Headquarters Admin moves to Pension and Insurance Section under Admin and Human Resources.
