Following the call by Northern Elders Forum and Coalition of Northern Groups, for Fulani people to leave the South, the Biafra Nations Youth League, has charged the people of South-East and South-South to immediately leave the North. The group in a statement signed and released by the Chief Press Secretary of BNYL, Comrade Kufre Obot, pleaded with its people to return home or risk being killed after the 30th July ultimatum by CNG.
The Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has hailed the decision of Northern elders to direct Fulani herdsmen to leave the southern parts of Nigeria. Naija News recalls that the Northern Elders Forum (NEF) had stated that information at their disposal reveals that some individuals are plotting to harm herdsmen in the southern part of Nigeria.
The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has called on the Yorubas to see the killing of Funke Olakunrin, the daughter of Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti as “another wake-up call.” Naija News had reported earlier that the Yoruba socio-cultural organisation announced the killing of Mrs. Olakunrin by suspected herdsmen in a terse message sent to The PUNCH on Friday by the spokesman for Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has alleged fresh claims by the Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government to implement a Fulanisation agenda in Nigeria.
