Osun State Police Command Rescues Man Kidnapped In Lagos State

The Police have arrested a Methodist church priest, Rev. Peter Adegoke Adewuyi, in Ekiti State for allegedly faking his own kidnap to collect ransom from church members and family members.

It was learnt that the 31-year-old priest lodged in a hotel in Ado-Ekiti and hid along side his accomplice who continuously made calls to the members of the public to pay ransom for his release.

In the course of investigation, the minister attributed his act to a spiritual attack. However, the Police found out that he had been involved in some other fraudulent acts prior to the feigned kidnap.
