Gunmen have reportedly killed a resident pastor of Nasara Baptist Church, Rev. Alhamdu Mangadus,  in Asso Community in Jema’a LG Area  of Kaduna State.

The pastor, according to a source, was killed on Wednesday afternoon 11th September, 2019 while he was on his farm.

The source said the gunmen alleged to be a Fulani militia were said to have opened fire on the pastor while he was working on the farm at around 1pm. 

According to the source, there was no exchange of words between the pastor and the gunmen as they opened fire on him immediately they arrived the farm.

Efforts to get the Council Chairman, Jema’a Local Government Area, Mr Peter Danjuma Averik, to comment on the incident proved abortive as he did not respond to phone calls as at the time of filing this report.
