You will be shocked to see how a man killed his own wife unknowingly
Authorities in the US say a man accidentally ran over and killed his wife in the driveway of their Pennsylvania home. Palmer Township police say the accident occurred around 3 p.m. Thursday, moments after 66-year-old Debra Mitchell got out of the car.
Mitchell was walking toward the back of the vehicle when she apparently fell, possibly due to a medical problem. Authorities say her husband, 66-year-old Terry Mitchell, was unaware she had fallen and ran over her as he backed out of the driveway. Debra Mitchell was pronounced dead at the scene. Her husband was not injured.
Meanwhile, Police are investigating an accident that killed two people and injured four. Emergency communications received the call at 12:53 a.m. for an multi-vehicle accident at the intersection of Military Highway and Indian River Road. Officers on scene located the two vehicles and two people thrown from one of the two vehicles died on scene.
The other four people were transported to a local hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, according to police. The intersection of Military Highway and Indian River Road was shut down for over five hours while crews investigated the crash. There are no other details at this time. In other news, First responders rescued a woman and a child from a vehicle involved in a hit and run accident Thursday evening in north St. Louis County. The accident happened around 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Lewis and Clark Boulevard and St. Cyr Road. The Riverview Fire Department had to cut the driver out of the vehicle. She was taken to the hospital but is expected to be ok. A child in a rear passenger seat was rescued by Moline Acres police and will also be ok.
